Site was culled at end of last cycle due to issues with furunculosis. Site was fallow on 19.10.2020
BMP updated with information regarding the notification of FHI upon suspicion of listed disease.
Fish only input last week so no health surveillance carried out yet. Fish are doing well post input so far, minimal mortalities

(FS0462).
Health surveillance occurs if there is an issue and when there are planned transfers.
Predation issues are not common in Loch Avich.
Four of the eight pens on site are wooden and not in use any longer. These are due to get removed in Spring 2025 and there are no plans to be replaced.
Fish were only observed in pens during feeding, showing a healthy feeding response. The water was too dark to observe the general population. No moribund or lethargic fish observed. [Original PDF]
