Site holding broodstock that are all repeat spawners.
Input to site from Kames Bay West on 02/10/2023. Stock origins - Torhouse Mill, then onto Kames Bay West before arriving on site.
Stripping finished mid February 2024.
Fallow date currently in discussion - potentially May 2024.
Treatments:
T.M.S. use - 13/02/2024
No other treatment administered. Fish not in withdrawal for T.M.S.
Health issues June 2023:
Pre-transfer assessment inspected for movement of fish from Kilcalmonell to Glenkens 28/06/2023.
30g trout were transferred from Kilcalmonell to Glenkens between 26-28th June 2023. Morality began to increase at Glenkens and signs were consistent with PKD. Fish were tested with qPCR at both source site and destination site. Further batch of trout were planned to be sent in July 2023 - no clinical signs but positive. Health report details risk assessment and results of sampling conducted (dated 21/07/2023) and was inspected. Flavobacterium was also tested for and fish found to be positive
31/07/2023 and was noted as a secondary infection.
Transport records - Third party transporter but business lorries used. Transport certificates inspected and found to be satisfactory.
