Visibility of the stocks was poor due to dark peaty water, no clinical signs of disease was observed during the inspection of the site.
Morts stored in IBCs at the shore base as whole fish waste, no waste collections have taken place yet as mortality on the site has been very low since input, therefore no records were available for inspection. A waste collection contract is in place with
Fergusons, who will collect the watse from the shorebase when required.
The site was last stocked prior to this production cycle in 2015, records prior to this current production cycle had not been retained therefore the inspection of records for this inspection was conducted between the date of input (29/05/2025 -
28/01/2026.
No health surveillance has taken place yet at the site during this production cycle.
Fish due to be transferred to sea at the start of March, the current plan is to stock Soay (FS0646) [Original PDF]
