Download Site stocked 28th September 2023 with 823,580 eggs from Bencumark Genetics, Iceland. The stock have performed well since input with very little mortality being observed on site.
From the physical inspection of the stock, no clinical signs of disease were observed. Eggs have started to hatch, all alvins observed appeared healthy and were observed moving actively within the trays.

Case Number: 2024-0280

Download No clinical signs of disease were observed during the inspection of the site. Fish were observed shoaling well and responding positively to routine feeding regimes. A 30 fish statutory test for VHS and IHN was conducted due to the water temperature being over 14 degrees. Due to the size of the fish at the time of sampling, the 30 fish tested were pooled into 6 samples.
Mortality has remained below the reporting threshold since the date of last inspection.
The site is due to fallow following a transfer of fish from all 8 stocked tanks to Geocrab Hatchery (FS0562) on 26/07/2024.
